Abdullah Alwan, a voice-over journalist for Al Jazeera.net's Meydan page, was martyred after the Israeli occupation targeted his family home in the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip. Alwan joined the "Meydan" team since its establishment in 2017, and the martyr's voice had a distinctive imprint on the viewers of the videos produced over the past years, and contributed to the voiceover on a number of episodes for Al Jazeera.
